Tope
Species: Galeorhinus galeus. Size: Up to 200cm in lenght. Colour: Usually grey with a white belly. Food: Crustaceans and small fish (Pouting or Whiting) Habitat: Over sand and among cold water reefs.

The Tope (the larger shark on right) the is a small shark that is common to the British coastline, they come in close to the shore especially during the summer to feed and have their babies. The Tope should soon be on display at the Lake District Coast Aquarium.
